Available now, to run with mares, is our amazing Clydesdale stallion Angustons Prince. Registered as a foal, but not as a stallion. He is not oversized or cow hocked making him ideal for crossing to finer mares to produce sport horses or to ponies of good bone and of no less than 14hh to produce cobs. He has produced the most fantastic foal for us “Wildrides Lottie” who is a highland cross and we expect her to make at least 15.2hh (12.2hh at 2 months old). She is an incredibly bold foal and has very unusual colouring, being yellow dun with big white socks and attractive markings.

Sakhalins Magician (Merlin)
Sire: Arctictreks Dream Racer at Ulanude
Dam: Set’n Taint
Born 2002
Hips: Class A (4/4)
Eyes: Clear
Bred out of one of Britain’s top racing kennels from strong Anadyr and Sepp Alta lines, he is of original type compared to some of the huskies preferred for fast sprint racing, making him more true to the breed standard. He has bred many pups that have all worked in harness with several of his first litter showing excellent attitude during their first season of training with one of Britain’s fastest teams. He has the calmest nature of any Siberian Husky we have ever encountered and is not aggressive with other pack members, humans or strange dogs. He produces good strong pups that will both work and show and that are not overly hyper or difficult to manage.
Progeny can be viewed in our kennel and working in harness

Lydsurach Benbecula (Bru the Bear)
Sire: Conbhairean Cougar
Dam: Razeralich Simone
Born 2005
Hips: Class A (4/6)
The pictures of Bru speak for themselves. He is beautifully put together, with really good bone built for power, strength and grace. His head is exceptional with a broad brow and muzzle. He is highly intelligent like all of his bloodline, and had a full grasp of the four basic commands in both voice and hand signal by seven weeks old. He is a joy to own, and we can take him anywhere as not only is he obedient, but he is exceptionally social; especially with children. He is ever watchful and always switched on to possible threats without being generally aggressive.
He currently has no progeny to view at our kennel, but we are lucky enough to live beside his breeders at 4x4able (see links) who have several of his relations including his mother, and his brother Nero is owned by other members of the MacDonald family. All of these dogs are of fantastic quality that is rare to find in the breed today, having originated from German imports.
Bru is mainly a house pet and companion to all at Highland Wildrides and has a huge following of admirers. He joins us daily out on the trails running beside the horses and sled dog teams, covering up to 10 miles per day on rough, hilly terrain.
