Hazel - This well bred Highland mare is the eye candy of Highland Wildrides. Yellow Dun with a long flowing mane, big eyes and a very kissable nose, she is a super horse to trail ride. She is also the mother to our beautiful home bred baby Lottie and has done a fantastic job of raising her. Kramer - This cheeky chappy wants to join the opera – or so you’d think with the way he howls the place down! As he is still young he has a lot to learn, but his first season in harness went extremely well and he got the idea instantly. We expect him to deliver on the promise he has shown so far, but even if he doesn’t we won’t be upset as he is the most beautiful husky we have ever bred here!

He is very well bred and has family in the film industry (his mum and auntie were in the first Tomb Raider movie and are personal friends of Angelina Jolie!). He’s not that competitive as he’d rather stay home flashing his piercing blue eyes at the ladies! Merlin can be forgiven for wanting to take it easy though as he had a very unfortunate experience whilst out training as a young dog.

Pollei - This 13hh Eriskay mare is a real rarity. Not only is she the last 100% pure bred mare of her blood line, she is also one of the quirkiest horses on the yard. Known as “the Pocket Rocket” by the rest of the crew, Pollei is always up for a good trek out into the woods and is very attached to her two best friends.

Shadow - This stunning looking Chocolate Palomino hunk is an absolute marvel. He is a handsome Rum Highland – one of the rarest breeds of horse in the world. He is highly intelligent, and one of the kindest horses you will meet particularly to children who can do anything to him. Surprisingly at just 13.1hh he is the fastest horse on the yard, consistently beating our thoroughbred crosses when we take him for a “blast to the mast”.

He is just 26” tall but he thinks he is the biggest thing on the yard (and that all the girls are in love with him!). May - This 16.2hh classy Clydesdale lady is the most unflappable creature to walk the earth. Nothing upsets her regal poise. May had been a show horse all her life but has taken much better to being a career girl than was expected having been broken at the age of thirteen. She has been the mother to some very successful show Clydesdales and we hope to retire her to our stud in the next year so she is only available to ride for a limited period.
May - This 16.2hh classy Clydesdale lady is the most unflappable creature to walk the earth. Nothing upsets her regal poise. May had been a show horse all her life but has taken much better to being a career girl than was expected having been broken at the age of thirteen. She has been the mother to some very successful show Clydesdales and we hope to retire her to our stud in the next year so she is only available to ride for a limited period.
